Lucas's Birthday - Part Dos

Ok...check this out...its totally crazy....shocker #1.  This is the first year that Lucas is celebrating his birthday in the winter.  In his 31 years of living, he has never experienced winter in august.  I know, your mind is blown.

For Part Dos of Lucas's birthday, we invited co workers from Te Whare Marie for some bowling fun and some birthday cake.   Shocker #2:  birthday cake for adults is a foreign thing for Kiwis.  They were completely dumbfounded by the fact that we brought cupcakes and milk to the bowling alley.  In New Zealand, birthday cakes are for kid's parties - beer, wine, and spirits are for adult parties.  One friend in particular was totally entertain by the idea and made sure we took several photos of her with the cupcakes.

For Lucas's birthday, I rented him an X-Box 360 - I think this might have been my best birthday gift yet.  If anyone wants to play Call of Duty on X-Box, I know someone who wants to do a Co-Op with you.
He opened it first thing in the morning at 7am
